Before becoming an professional integral coach in 2019, JM spent 25 years within the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition/Recruitment space in Asia, where he worked as the talent leader for Ogilvy, McCann, and with WPP as the Regional CTO, the World’s largest creative holding group. In the last 4 years, JM was the APAC CEO of Grace Blue Worldwide, the only global executive search agency specializing in the advertising, marketing and communications sectors. He is extensively accredited in coaching, with New Ventures West as an integral coach, with Integral Coaching Solutions as a trained Enneagram coach and Team Dynamics facilitator, and as a Professional Coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). JM is based in Singapore with his wife and two children.

With over 25 years of leadership experience across the Asia Pacific region, I’ve partnered with startups, scale-ups, and globally recognized businesses to build exceptional teams, establish progressive talent strategies, and drive organizational transformation. My career spans a diverse range of sectors and geographies, having lived and worked in London, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, Bangkok, and Singapore.

My approach combines strategic leadership with cultural insight, enabling organizations to unlock their potential and thrive in a rapidly changing world.
From my tenure as Chief Talent Officer at McCann Worldgroup to leading talent acquisition as Regional Director at Media.Monks, I’ve consistently scaled and strengthened organizations. Whether placing senior leaders across APAC or spearheading talent strategies at WPP, IPG and TotallyAwesome, my focus has always been on creating impact through people.
I’ve had the privilege of building executive leadership teams, launching development programs, and fostering high-performing cultures.
Certified as a Professional Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and an iEQ9 Accredited Enneagram Practitioner, I bring a holistic and personalised approach to leadership development. Fluent in English, with intermediate proficiency in Mandarin and Thai, I leverage my multicultural background to connect with diverse teams and leaders.
